Calgary Police Partner Agency Training List

I distributed the wrong one in one of my previous emails.  Attachment should be the updated Fall schedule.  Remember you need to let Penny know well in advance who is attending so arrangements can be made for access through the Commissionaires at the front desk.  No cost training.

Printer Ink Deal – thanks Heidi – Barrhead

Last week I ordered some printer cartridges for our VSU printer.  The company I ordered from, Printer World, is the same company that serves most of the RCMP detachments in the province.  By ordering from Printer World it has saved me over $150 and shipped for free within a couple of days.  I’ve attached advertising he put together for VSU if this is something that other Units want to use in the future.

Congratulations Adonus – we are so proud of you!

APBVSA PD Fall 2019 –  Oct 21/22nd – Olds, AB

Oct 21st Deb deWaal: Resiliency in the Workplace – Personal and Professional Mastery

Oct 22nd Dr. McLean:  Trauma Impact, Holistic Resiliency & Post Traumatic Growth

From Dr. McLean – “I have had a couple of inquiries (from those that attended the Leduc training this past spring) about the differences in the sessions that I will be facilitating. I mentioned that the Red Deer one will be very comparable and similar to Leduc, where the Olds will have some similar information (in order to have all participants somewhat at the same level) but will be expanding information to holistic wellness and post-traumatic growth (we will be completing questionnaires/tests in the session.) – Scott
