Logo use guidelines – When can I use the APBVSA logo and how do I obtain permission to use it?

Programs are welcome to use the Victim Services Alberta logo, but the use must be authorized by the APBVSA Executive. Please email admin@victimerservicesalberta.com for this request. The use of the logo would be in the context of “member of” and could not be used as the Program logo.

The Policies and procedures state:

     6.0 ASSETS/PROPERTY POLICY
6.1 USE OF LOGOS, SYMBOLS AND PRODUCTS OF THE ASSOCIATION

The logo, letterhead, or other symbols or materials of the Association cannot be used or reproduced without the prior written approval of the Executive Committee.

02.

Are volunteers 80 years of age and over covered under Jubilee’s Insurance?

The age restriction only has to do with the Volunteer Accident policy. This policy you have the option to choose up to 70 years old or pay an additional $50 to cover volunteers up to the age of 80. After 80 years old they are no longer covered by the Accident policy. The Councilor Accident policy has no age restriction.

Under the General Liability policy, there is no age restriction for volunteers.
